PMI – Positive Material Identification

The positive material identification is made to analyse and identify the metals and their alloys composition for the quality and process control.
Even small changes in terms of the concentration of a material may affect its mechanical and electrical properties in a significant way.

In ARTEN, our raw materials are subjected to a 100% double check , both at the entrance and during the production process. The analysis is made with a portable micro-X-ray fluorescence spectrometer .

The controls we implement thanks to the spectrometers in our factory allow us to supply our customers a certification of the material, which is confirmed thanks to these analysis and tests which take place starting from the arrival of the raw material to the delivery of the final product.
